Hours
Courts will be open at 8:00 a.m. and close
at 10:30 p.m. seven days a week.
Court Use
The following general rules apply to court
usage. Please note that the safest way to
ensure a court is to RESERVE IN ADVANCE.
If you are “dropping in” to play tennis
without a reservation, court usage is not
guaranteed. Occasionally pros will be
using additional courts because they are
not in use. Please ask a pro if a court
can be made available, and if they are
using the courts outside of the guidelines
below, they should make one available to a
member. Members will NOT be moved to make
room for other members who have not
reserved a court in advance.
Courts 1 & 2: 2 pro courts
will be available to the Club Pro for
lessons and clinics. Otherwise, these
courts can be signed up and used on a
first-come-first-play basis.
Courts 3 & 4: These courts will
be used on a reservations only basis.
Adults 18 and over will have priority on
these courts at all times. Children may
not make reservations, but may play if
courts are not in use
Courts 5 & 6: These courts will
be used on a reservations only basis.
Children age 10 and older will have the
same privileges of making reservations as
adults.
Courts 1 & 2, 3 & 4: These
courts will be used as necessary for ALTA
& USTA matches (two courts per team
unless more courts are free at time of
play). Priority will also be given to
Men’s Drop-In Doubles on Saturday mornings
and Mixed Doubles on Sunday afternoons.
Other Leagues: Other league
matches may be scheduled based on court
availability (make-up ALTA matches, T2
matches, K-Swiss matches, etc.). The rules
below regarding time limits for
reservations do not apply to league
matches.
Special Events, Clinics and Drills:
In addition to the 2 pro courts, up to 2
additional courts may be reserved by the
pros for the following events: Monday
night co-ed drills, Summer Camp, Junior
Academy, Beginner Clinics. All courts may
be used for special events such as Fall
Tournament and scheduled Tennis Mixers.
Members should reserve courts in advance
during these timeframes to ensure use of a
court. Please check the Riverside Calendar
for specific dates/times.

team already has 20 players or if a mixed
team has 25 players; or b.) adding the
player would cause the team to move up
more than 2 levels.) If a team is not
available for any member who wishes to
participate, we encourage that member to
work with the Tennis Directors and VP of
Tennis to form a new team at the
appropriate level.
