Meet the Riverside Club
Pros: Noel, Tony, Brett and Clifford.
Noel Wadawu - Director of
Tennis
A native
of Zimbabwe, Noel has been associated with the Riverside Club since May
2000. He graduated from Florida A&M University with a bachelor of
science in Accounting and a master's in sport management. He
specializes in junior player development, adult tennis, and beginner
tennis. Noel is certified by the USPTA and has received certification
by the Sanchez Casal Academy in the Spanish Way to Develop Players.
Noel has also worked with several top juniors as well as current WTA
pro Melanie Oudin. |
Brett Smith - Head Pro
Brett was born in Durban, South Africa. He
attended Georgia State
University where he played Number 1 Singles and Doubles. He is a
Certified Professional with the USPTA and USPTR as well as being
certified in USTA Sports Science. He has 15 years of teaching
experience. He is USPTA Certified and has also taken courses in Sports
Science. Brett specializes in junior and adult
development. |
Charles Byrd — Assistant Head Pro
Charles
brings 20 years of
teaching experience to the program. A native of Atlanta, Charles has
worked with several top juniors in the country as well as touring
pros. Charles is best known for his grueling workouts and
infectious motivational speeches. He is USPTA certified.

LeTrone Mason — Associate Pro
USTA certified, this pro won the Junior
College National Championship as Head Coach of Broward Community
College Tennis Program. He reached the division II final four
with Clayton State College Women's Tennis Program. LeTrone
specializes in adult and junior development.

Jack Baker—Associate Pro
| A native of England and a former top 30
collegiate ranked player and graduate of the University of South
Alabama, Jack works with tournament level kids and adult programs. |
