Pool Rules 2011
1.    The lifeguard is in charge and has full authority to enforce all rules, both written and unwritten, and has full authority to ask members and/or guests to leave the pool area should they not adhere to the rules or cause a nuisance.

2.    Members-Only Members in good standing and guests are permitted in the Pool area.  The pool manager reserves the right to request proper identification of each person. The "member in good standing" includes all members of a family living full-time in the member's residence. Members must be current with dues, assessments and any other financial obligations with the Riverside Club, Inc. A member or members of the household that are delinquent on any financial obligation with the Club will not be permitted to use the pool.

3.    Guests will be admitted only if accompanied by a “member in good standing”.  Each guest may come 3 times per calendar year which includes The Pool Opening Party or as otherwise determined by The Board for special causes/events.

4.    Absolutely no swimming is allowed when a lifeguard is not on duty. Members and guests will not be permitted in the immediate area of the lifeguard chair at any time.

5.    Any children under the age of nine must be accompanied by a person 14 years of age or older. Any child wearing a flotation device of any kind must have an adult in the pool with them.

6.    Non-swimmers are not allowed in the diving area.

7.    Use of the wading pool is strictly limited to children 5 years of age and under. Parents are responsible for children in the wading pool. The wading pool is not lifeguarded; therefore, parents must be at the wading pool watching their children.

8.    “Adult Swim” will be called once each hour for at least 10 minutes. Only persons 18 years of age and older are allowed in the pool during adult swim.

9.    No running, pushing, wrestling, ball-playing or rough behavior will be permitted in the pool area.

10.    Profanity, improper behavior, or vulgar remarks are prohibited.

11.    Inflatable floatation devices such as rafts and inner tubes are prohibited.

12.    Tennis balls and similar/harder balls are prohibited.

13.    No glass containers of any kind will be allowed in the pool area enclosure.

14.    Any person with skin abrasions, infections or wearing bandages will be denied use of the pool.

15.    Non-swimmers and swimmers are not permitted to dive off the diving board with water support equipment or any other
paraphernalia and such equipment is not permitted in the diving area.

16.    Only one (1) person at a time is permitted on the diving board. The diving area is reserved for diving only. The diving board should only be mounted by using the ladder.

17.    Diving is permitted only in water more than five (5) feet deep. No diving in shallow water!

18.    Children under the age of 3, or older if not potty trained, must wear a swim diaper with one of the following: swim pants, plastic cover pants, or a suit with a swim pant liner. Children under the age of 4 who are potty trained must wear a swim pant under their suit or a suit with a swim pant liner.

19.    To ensure availability of the main pool, children under the age of (3) or children who are not potty trained will be limited to the use of the wading pool 24 hours prior to any major planned events (swim meets, large scheduled parties, etc.)

20.    Proper sanitary habits are mandatory for all children in the pool.

21.    Please dispose of all trash in trash and recycle bins.
